Smith & Wesson model 65-2 chambered in .357 Magnum. Built on S&W's K-frame, this revolver features a double/single action trigger with the old style S&W hammer nose (pre-lock/no lock). It has a pinned barrel with recessed cylinder (chambers) and laminated hardwood grips. This appears to be an old TDC (Texas Department of Corrections) revolver as indicated by the number on the left side frame.
Overall the gun is mechanically in good condition. However, due to use and probably daily carry for a period of time, it has a lot of small, cosmetic scuffs and blemishes in the finish. The chambers, bore and rifling are all in good condition. Comes as pictured, no box.
